Sydney Sweeney is still out and about for Echo Valley, in which she plays Julianne Moore’s daughter who shows up one day at the family farm covered in blood. (We saw her at the premiere in a big red gown earlier today, in fact.) It’s billed as a thriller, and accordingly, the poster shows them facing in different directions while we look up at least one of their noses. Thrilling indeed! Sydney’s overall style has been quite a question-mark for me over the years, but I actually think she looks pretty cute in these, and that she’s doing a good job steering away from the 24/7 bombshell aesthetic. This one here is vintage Gaultier. I wonder if the house of JPG is actively digging through the archive and preemptively sending out photos to people, because otherwise, even if it looks fine on her, has anyone really had Brown Suit With Built-In Tie on their vision board for 20 years?
