My first instinct was correct. Per Vogue, “Here, Demna remixed 35 different collections from his time at Balenciaga together with ‘new pieces’ and ‘garments from my personal wardrobe, representing the volumes, silhouettes, and attitudes that have defined my vision and my questioning of the contemporary wardrobe.'” It’s one of his last collections for the label before he heads off to Gucci and Vogue dubs it “closure,” which it surely is. Whether or not it represents anything you might want to buy is a wholly other question. (Balenciaga also asked Britney Spears to make the playlist for the runway, which is fun.)
