Jessica already covered the star of the show — Jennifer Hudson, and a purple dress that I wish had not been D&G, but understandably I do not get a vote — but there were a lot more people in attendance here, some of whom also went with purple and others of whom are just generally snazzy. I am sad to report Mary J. Blige is not among them, specifically because she is LITERALLY not among them, as she did not attend. Mary J, if you cannot be in the spot tonight, please at least come another time.
