Look, I think it’s probably for the best that the WHCD isn’t the celebrity shitshow it used to be; things got weird. However, I truly did not expect to see Bravo megastar/charismatic sociopath Jax Taylor at this thing…like, ever? I don’t care; the most precious thing about the WHCD to me is its appearance in Broadcast News. But I feel like the WHCD people care? Anyway, I’m not in charge of this and don’t want to be, and also this is a good opportunity for me to note that if you loved the heyday of Vanderpump Rules, you NEED to be watching The Valley. IT IS AMAZING and I need to talk to you about how intensely rage-filled Jesse and Michelle seem to be! Jax and Kristen Doute continue to be extraordinary shit-stirrers! Etc!
ANYWAY. Also other people came to this thing, including Sophia Bush (who loves attending it, she has come several years in a row) in a great dress, Rufus Sewell, one of the pair of Keri Russell/Matthew Rhys, at least one Oscar winner, and Scarlett Johansson (her spouse hosted). Behold!
