Jessica originally referred to this as “Bacon Grease Dress,” given how it does look a bit like a very hungry Project Runway contestant used their product-placed HP tablets to create some fabric bedecked with artistic rashers. It’s confusing and messy, and is a betrayal to her great head, and unless it also SMELLS like bacon — or came with a shipment of free bacon — then I can’t figure out the benefit.

This Stella McCartney cut, or a variation thereof, got a lot of play around this time. And for good reason. Stella often lets the side down with pantsuits, but this is sleek and slick, with just the right touch of gold. It was a fast rebound, and one of the few times in my life that I’ve been glad to see a reduction in bacon.
