At the time, Heather called this “Jessica McClintock for Laura Ashley Home for Bed Bath and Beyond,” but…in kind of a good way? (We also waxed poetic about how pleasant Rita was on that one season of ANTM where she took over for Tyra, before Tyra realized that the true ANTM experience requires her presence. Which was factual!)
To be honest, this dress has aged fairly well. Part of that is, I think, because Giambattista Valli has made foofy numbers a semi-regular part of their rotation, and so this feels like she could have worn it more recently than 2017. The other part is that a foofy duvet dress is an always-classic for celebrities in general, and this IS a fun one. Good for you, Rita!
