Freida Pinto is in Knight of Cups, which is a new movie with Christian Bale and Cate Blanchett and a variety of other people, and it is NOT specifically about tarot, but instead — per IMDb — “a writer indulging in all that Los Angeles and Las Vegas has to offer undertakes a search for love and self via a series of adventures with six different women. ” It’s a Terrence Malik movie, and apparently it’s “experimental,” and features women playing such highly experimental roles as “a rebellious young woman,” “a serene model,” and “a spirited, playful stripper.” Thank god we’re getting another movie where women get to be stereotypes to help a man learn more about his own dumb self!!!! Also per Wiki, that unimpeachable source, “although a script was written, Bale received no pages from it. In an interview, Wes Bentley [said he] received 40 pages of dialogue, and none was used in the film. In February 2014, it was announced Joel Kinnaman had shot a day on the film, and had a 17 page monologue.” So this sounds like it’s going to be interesting. Let’s look at what Freida’s been wearing around town in aid of it. (She’s the “serene model.” Everyone knows you can’t learn anything from a woman if she’s not pretty, you guys.)
