Ah, the mass market paperback! It’s that small, really portable paperback size that, if you are me, conjures up memories of reading by the pool during vacations, and making impulse buys at Target when I really was meant to only buy tampons and Post-Its. We are delighted that, as of today, The Royal We is now available in this very cute size! (This is ahead of the sequel, The Heir Affair, coming out in July.)

Because so many bookstores are closed right now — and it’s hard to predict where this size book will be carried; it always gives me fond memories of shopping at the airport (even in the Before, I loved buying books at the airport bookstore. The task of finding something that would distract you from the fact that you’re hurtling through the sky in a metal tube was always fun) — you can order it here, if you’re so inclined:

Your own favorite indie bookstore might still be shipping, so check with them! (For example, you can order it from Ripped Bodice, or Brookline Booksmith, or Parnassus Books)

At Bookshop.org, which benefits independent bookstores! (They let people make their own little storefronts there, and I’ve been working on ours on and off over the last three weeks. It is not at all complete yet! But my favorite collection of ours there is called (Mostly) Rich People Having Dramatic Personal Problems During (Mostly) War Times.)

At Barnes and Noble.

At Walmart

And, of course, at Amazon (which is — correctly! — de-prioritising shipments of physical books during This Time).

FYI: GFY always uses affiliate links where available, which means we get a tiny bonus if you get yourself something new, including a book! Happy reading!
