I am sure I am not the only person to say this — in fact, Samantha Powell pointed this out on Twitter last night — but I think part of what is appealing about this Vera Wang frock is how much it looks like this (much better) Prada dress Carey Mulligan wore to the Met Gala. (Seriously, I feel like Miuccia might be giving Vera some side-eye right now.)
Do I think it might be better on a slightly taller person? Yes. Do I still like it? Sure. Do I think it’s FREAKING CRIMINAL THAT THIS WOMAN HAS HER GLORIOUS HAIR UP? YES. I know it’s raining. I don’t care. When you have Priyanka Chopra’s hair, YOU ALLOW US TO GLORY IN IT AT ALL TIMES.
