With the rumors that Cannes might get cancelled, I’ve casually wondered what impact the coronavirus will have on red-carpet events, like the Met Gala, SXSW, and others, where even if they aren’t cancelled it’s possible celebs themselves will decline to attend. Obviously, everyone, do what makes you feel comfortable — nobody yet understands this thing, so I don’t blame anyone for just buying a bunch of toilet paper and canned goods and locking the front door — but it’s been interesting to see that Paris Fashion Week was still able to draw a crowd. Listen, 2020, you have come in a little bit hot. Between this and the election stuff, I’m really OVER drawn-out cliffhangers.
