We are still three months away from Bridgerton’s third season debuting, but ’tis the season for love I suppose, so Netflix dropped a Colin and Penelope scene and had a little party in London with most of the major players. (Sadly, no Anthony and Kate.) Voila:
I think the casting of Colin has been the most off for me from the books — well, hang on, maybe that’s not fair to Luke Newton; it might not be the casting but rather the way he’s written, which in turn might have lent itself to the casting. Colin Bridgerton needs to be impishly foxy, and in season 1 he was more of an earnest dope and that kinda set the tone. We’ll see! I have faith in Nicola Coughlan.
