For a couple years, Kerry Washington was a L’Oreal Paris ambassador — long before Scandal; we’re talking the Boston Legal/Last King of Scotland/I Think I Love My Wife era — and that always comes with some high-glam appearances at Cannes. (It is, in fact, the reason for many of Blake Lively’s big nights there.) The interesting thing about that is, in the press release, we’re told Kerry is signed up to rep their “high pigment makeup for women who love color,” but her makeup looks totally samey and unremarkable. Only one of them even packs a lipstick wallop.
