This lovely person often dresses in black, or blue, or just generally like The Widow Langford, so it was a sunny delight that she trotted out some yellow. I love it on her, and she had the right idea with the bold lip, although I might have blotted it once or twice more before sending her out on the carpet. Honestly, I didn’t entirely recognize her at first. Her overall contouring and blush is stronger, and she’s giving the kind of ocular fierceness befitting a Victoria’s Secret Angel who is glaring into a TV commercial camera while a different disembodied woman’s voice breathlessly whispers about underwire. But it’s not dowdy, and for that I send up a thank you to the fashion gods, and a plea for more.
