Greetings! Kate has two events today — she’s going to The Sexy Ladies of Hedge Funds event tonight (I jest, my dears, it’s actually called the “100 Women in Finance Gala Dinner”) — but behold! This is the first engagement on the calendar. Kate attended the Royal Foundation’s ‘Mental Health in Education’ conference this morning in VERY bouncy hair, and a flippy skirt suit that I quite like except for the fact that it’s Dolce & Gabbana and they’ve been on a run of being totally awful the last few years — not as designers (they’ve actually turned out some good stuff), as humans. I think this look is very charming, actually, but if I were her, I would have just worn my Chanel. Same idea, same price point, less fraught.
Having said that, this is a good cause:
Launched by The Duchess of Cambridge in 2018, #MentallyHealthySchools gives primary schools free access to the highest quality mental health resources, helping teachers better support their pupils’ mental health.

Kate gave a speech:
“It is clear that the positive development of our children is directly linked to those who care for them, teachers, carers and parents.” — The Duchess of Cambridge #MHinEducation pic.twitter.com/47sBaYQtgS

And there was also much sitting around taking notes and being think-y. Let’s take a look.
PS: Here’s a sneak peek at tonight’s dress — it’s Gucci — which I’ll be covering later.
