Honestly, the dress here isn’t bad, or even that ’90s on its own. (Or maybe it is, and I’ve just blotted out anything that wasn’t worn by Cher Horowitz or Courtney Love.) But you pair it with buckle shoes and the ribbon choker, and suddenly I’m back in Melrose Place, wishing they would come up with stories more interesting than “Will Billy take over his dad’s carpet store,” or anything Jane and Michael did. LITTLE DID I KNOW. I should’ve had faith. Honestly, if we could just snip off the collar, this entire thing would improve dramatically and immediately. Then again, it certainly feels like The Big Bang Theory has been on since the 90s, so maybe she’s just paying sartorial homage to that sensation.
