I had really hoped that bored celebrities would ooze out by the jillions to attend any event for an industry that DOESN’T require the services of a WGA writer and/or promote movies and TV. The Billboard R&B Hip Hop Live event is PERFECT for this purpose. I suppose no one wants to give off the impression to people who aren’t Extremely Online that events are back and everything is normal, but like… would it KILL the cast of Succession to show up here and hand an award to Ice Spice, or something?
