I’ve seen a fair few ads for Palm Royale, a candy-colored comedy mini-series that… might… be… a parody? But maybe I only feel that way because Kristen Wiig is in it, and somehow I expect her to be poking fun at a genre because she was in The Californians on SNL and that Lifetime movie? All I know is, they spent money on this. It’s Kristen, Allison Janney, Laura Dern, Carol Burnett, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Ricky Martin, Kaia Gerber, and more, and I cannot imagine Carol Burnett gets out of her bed for peanuts, you know?
