If Valentine’s Day was all about bringing people together to find love, How To Be Single was mostly about bring people together and then concluding that sometimes you’re better off without them. There’s a very nice message at the core of the movie that fulfilling yourself does not require a partner, but unfortunately I didn’t think this movie actually got its hands around that very well. It isn’t very good, and many of the people in it are irritating — or irritatingly written, anyway; I’ve always thought Dakota Johnson was good at bringing charm even to parts that lack it. But! Rebel Wilson looked AMAZING at the London premiere and that alone is worth the admission here.
