I will admit that I’ve seen more ads for Shrinking recently, and Pluribus got a few, but for the most part Apple spends buckets and buckets of money on TV shows that we barely even know exist. Did you watch The Last Thing He Told Me? I did! It was deeply mid! Did you know there’s a sequel now? Do you know whether Silo is still being made? And there was that kind of bad PI show starring Vince Vaughn, what’s going on with that? Do you know anyone at all who enjoyed that Jon Hamm show whose name escapes me, and why they paid for another season? (ME!!!! Well, I hated it but I enjoyed hating it and I will definitely watch the next season to hate it more. James Marsden is in it and he does appear that HE hates Jon Hamm in it too! — J) Did ANYONE see a second season of Hijack — sorry, H/jack — coming? Did you even see the first one coming? Remember that massively expensive and also stupid-looking See? Probably not, because they never really talked about it! And I know they picked up a fifth season of For All Mankind, but no one from that was at this party, so I’ll find out when THAT is back largely by accident, probably while watching Ted Lasso season 4. I’m not complaining, except about their insane promotional non-strategies. Everyone should see For All Mankind! Those people should have been up for mad Emmys! SIGH. Anyway. Here are some people.
