Okay, so if Valentine’s Day was about throwing people together in the name of finding love, and How To Be Single was about throwing people together in the name of teaching them not to be afraid of finding fulfillment within themselves, then Fifty Shades and its sequels are… about insufferable people who really SHOULD be single, but aren’t, and are hard to root for, and don’t really learn anything. Romantic!
