Happy weekend, friends, and a very happy first weekend of the baseball season. I hope you have something fun planned for the next few days. Over at Drinks With Broads this week, we talk about Project Hail MaryLadies of London, and a very promising French chateau conveniently located adjacent to…checks notes…a bottomless pit??? Also: OWEN HUNT IS FINALLY LEAVING GREY’S and also: SNL UK, the new Murder She Wrote, and Chloe Malle’s last two Vogue covers.

I rounded up wacky pants for spring! They are more versatile than you think, I promise.

We also talked about our exercise routines — you all are inspiring!

PSA: Loft is currently having a big sale — 50% off! Lots of good basics, and I also love this little quilted jacket.

On the topic of sales, J.Crew is also running a 40% off promotion, including these new linen pants I just got and really like. A TON of good stuff is in this sale, actually: I wore this linen shirt ALL summer last year; this sundress is adorable; and the Jackie cardigan is on sale, which NEVER happens. They also have 25% off cashmere right now; I love the little cashmere tee.

This is a wonderful personal essay from UCLA basketball star Lauren Betts, about her depression. I love you, Lauren! Go Bruins!

Lewis Hamilton seems to be enjoying his time in Japan prior to this weekend’s Grand Prix.

This made me chuckle: Nobody Was Team Jacob, Says Edward Cullen. As has been pointed out many times before now, R Pattz is such an agent of chaos. I used to love the press pushes for the later Twilight movies, because it was SO OBVIOUS that K.Stew, Taylor Lautner, and Pattinson all thought the entire thing was BONKERS and the studio kinda let them say it. (Lautner in partic was allowed to kinda be like, “uhhhhhh” about the whole Renesmee of it all.)

This whole thing is viral marketing for Reacher, right? Alan Ritchson’s Neighbor Started It, Sources Claim. Even the neighbor is like YEP I DID IT!!! It DID remind me that Reacher exists.

I enjoyed looking at this: Harris Reed’s stylish west London flat is as theatrical as his designs for fashion and furnishings

This is fun: Caitlin Clark credentialed as Pacers photographer as LeBron James, Lakers visit Indiana. Is there anything she can’t do?

PERFECT casting: Gwyneth Paltrow to Star in Adaption of Belle Burden’s Memoir Strangers for Netflix

For my fellow Dr. Brandt fans — No More Baggage hive, rise up! — they’ve introduced a new Wrinkle Release Serum. I’ve used it a few times this week and it’s obviously too soon to tell any long term results but I like it so far and I do think it makes me look a little better. The packaging is interesting — you squeeze the “wings” to get the cream out of the canister. It’s fun to use but I’m curious as to how well it works to get the last bits of the serum out of the package. I’ll report back!

Agreed: Netflix Baseball Looks Like Shit. Stop trying to reinvent the wheel and stop yapping about your own shows, we are here to watch the game!

This headline had me IMMEDIATELY: Let’s Solve This Blind Item From a 1999 Issue of Movieline! Unlike the author, I was 24 years old in 1999 and remember it very well and I ALSO came to the same conclusion; in fact, I think I’d heard the tail end of the blind — the prank call bit — about her elsewhere.

Daniel Radcliffe is really a delight.

So what DOES it feel like to get struck by lightning? This piece is fascinating.

Speaking of new serums, I am trying this new Crown Affair Overnight Repair Serum for my hair. I really like Crown Affair — I LOVE their towel — so I have high hopes. It does smell great.

This piece from Lainey, explaining all the logistics of her Oscars weekend, is SO interesting.
