Somebody had their thinking cap on: Super Mario Galaxy’s Japanese premiere coincided with the Formula 1 Grand Prix over there, so the entire cast got to wander around the pits and did a bunch of voice-over for the pre-show — well, specifically, I heard Jack Black, who delivered a whole intro full of Mario puns, very few of which actually applied to Mario Galaxy itself. Seems like they might’ve wanted to wait and do this when they release the inevitable Mario Kart movie. Although obviously it will not be the DEFINITIVE Mario Kart project; that honor belongs to Pedro Pascal:
