Last week, I tried to date this post “2014” — I WISH!! — and today, I tried to date it “225.” I guess I’m glad it’s not the year 225, if only for modern medicine and, like, TV. ANYWAY, here we are, still in 2025. How’s your existential crisis?

At Drinks With Broads this week: we continued our Severance recaps with Miss Cobel getting up to some weird shit in Salt’s Neck, and our stay at the White Lotus took a little aquatic detour. Heather sampled CBS’s new soap opera Beyond the Gates to see if it was sufficiently crazy, and we took another trip on Doctor Odyssey to see how dead they are, and found out how bad Gladiator II actually was.

Neat: A medieval Bishop’s ring from more than 800 years ago goes to auction. Some guy found it in a random field! [NPR]

Demna is leaving Balenciaga and going to Gucci. This is honestly so boring. Can we get more than just the same five guys swapping seats at the top of all the leading design houses???? [NYT, gifted]

Also: Donatella Versace is stepping down and being replaced by “Dario Vitale, who formerly served as the design and image director of Italian brand Miu Miu,” per NPR. I hope he steers the house as well as she did.

Interesting! Isaac Mizrahi is selling parts of his archives. A portion of the proceeds is going to my beloved Pasadena Humane society! The pieces on offer are fantastic — I love Mizrahi. Can we all just take a moment of silence of Mizrahi’s line at Target? I have a shirtdress from there that I STILL WEAR. It’s probably 25 years old. [Socialite Life]

Related, here at GFY, I rounded up dresses for spring with SLEEVES; it was fun! Take a look if you’re in the market.

Related related: I didn’t include this in that round-up but I think I might get this Quince linen dress? People love it. (I included it in a previous dress round-up — like, last year — and it got good reviews from Fug Nation!)

These are some great vintage finds for your house!  I am in love with the strawberry ice bucket. I do not need an expensive ice bucket but maybe if I win the lottery??? [The Stripe]

Lainey wonders if J.Lo should date Lewis Hamilton and….I’m not mad about this idea.

What a time to be alive: Meghan Trainor Got a Boob Job Sponsored by a Brand.  Every word of that headline was a surprise to me. [Pajiba]

This is fun, at the Ministry of Pop Culture: Building an Iconic Fictional Eatery.

A lot of y’all bought this Madewell bag recently; if there were other items you were eyeballing there, you might be interested to know that they’ve got a sale running from now until March 23; it’s 25% off everything for Madewell Insiders. (That’s just their loyalty program, like the one Sephora has; you can sign up for free before you buy anything.) I’m tempted by these flats. Related, they’re also doing 40% off sale items and I was noodling around looking for something else when I discovered that their leather moto jacket, which I have a very old version of and love, and which is normally pretty spendy, with the Insiders discount and that 40% goes from $525 to $255. It’s final sale so bear that in mind, but FYI!

INTERESTING: Michael B Jordan and Taylor Russell?!?! This is a VERY attractive couple. [Lainey]

Fascinating: Step Into the Real-Life Lumon Industries, the Breakout Star of ‘Severance’ [NYT, gifted link]

At InStyle: What the Godmother of Rom-Coms, Nora Ephron, Taught Me About Style

I enjoyed reading this: 10 Things People Were Wearing in Paris. Although I could not pull some of this off. [Long Live]

I LOVE this house. (Bailey Quinn is a very fun Instagram follow, as well). [House Beautiful]

I always want to know about this: The 20 Best Cookbooks of Spring 2025. [Eater]

And this is right up my alley: The 20 Best Books Like The White Lotus.  Bring me all the book lists![T&C]

So interesting: The Women Warriors who served Wine on the Battlefield [Messy Nessy Chic]

Finally, we were on Kim France and Jenn Romolini’s podcast, EVERYTHING IS FINE, this week. The title of the episode is Midlife Fashion Ennui, and that really covers it.
