BIG NEWS: The SAG Awards, a.k.a The Actors, are this Sunday. We will have complete coverage of the red carpet here at GFY on Monday — and will be hosting a live chat for paid subscribers at DWB during the red carpet and telecast. (Pro tip: If you are not currently a paid subscriber, if you join us behind the paywall for the next month, you’ll get both the SAGs and the Oscars chat, plus you can catch up with our Heated Rivalry recaps.)
Also at DWB this week: Heather recaps the first chunk of this season of Bridgerton; we talked to our friend Amy Spalding about her great new novel, writing queer joy, and Grey’s Anatomy; I reviewed a very fancy cold coffee maker; and Heather saw Wuthering Heights and we dig into the menu for the Actors.
Meanwhile, here at GFY, I rounded up a bunch of bags that made me say, “This is cute.” Plus, you know. The usual shenanigans — the BAFTAs happened over the weekend, so we grabbed everything from that red carpet. We talked about the women’s figure skating costumes at the most recent Olympics. Barry Keoghan hates his new hair. Etc.
Interesting/horrifying: This App Warns You if Someone Is Wearing Smart Glasses Nearby. I honestly think these smart glasses have a lot of ethical questions associated with them and I hate them.
This is interesting: Did People Magazine Screw Up With the Pink Separation Story?. My theory is that People had good intel but there was some kind of breakdown in communication between People and the Pink people, People ran the story too early, and Pink got mad. (I actually think if there were no truth to this at all, she would have had a way more relaxed reaction about it.) People doesn’t run divorce stories without multiple confirmations (and also this story did not feel surprising because Pink and Carey Hart have a famously tumultuous relationship). However, someone somewhere likely got fired here.

I almost forgot the SAGs have a “theme” for the red carpet this year: How the Actor Awards Red Carpet Will Channel ’20s and ’30s Hollywood Glamour. I don’t know if this felt like a necessary add-on to this event.

Connor Storrie has a lot going on!
I recently got an email from Lands’ End about all the new swimsuits they’re getting in — spring break is coming, I promise! — and took a look. We were literally just talking about how Lands’ End is a good place to get reasonably priced rash guards and swim shirts (and I always appreciate the wide range of sizes they’ve got, including long torso, and a whole selection of mastectomy swimsuits.) (You can even filter by how much of your butt you want to cover!) Anyway, they’ve got a lot of legit really cute stuff right now if you’re in the market for swim stuff that you can wear to the pool without worrying about your boob popping out (a category of swim that most people need to shop for at some point in their lives, be it because you’re taking a cruise with your in-laws or because you’re taking a bunch of small kids to the pool and you will be chasing them the entire time). Having said that, this long-sleeved zip-up rash guard swimsuit is honestly pretty sexy. This cropped rash guard is CUTE. This polka dot one piece is ALSO CUTE. This bikini is on big sale and very very cute. I was very pleasantly surprised!

I know you’re gonna want to read about Tom Hollander talking about his role in the Joe Wright Pride & Prejudice. He’s so good in that. It’s a GREAT interview.
