It’s the end of an era: Carolina Herrera is stepping down from her eponymous brand (Wes Gordon is taking over), which means no more glimpses of her popping out from backstage in her signature white blouse and long black taffeta skirt. The end of the show had several models coming out in multi-colored versions of that same uniform, in a nod to Carolina that also felt like the brand’s way of saying it’ll march onward still. Hopefully it’ll do so while retaining the elegance that made her shows such a refined treat.
