Both of these women went for an excess of poof, and if you wanted to make an argument that they both should have saved these dresses for a more stately event, I would be willing to hear you out. Having said that, Camila (below) won some of the bigger awards last night, so you could counter-argue that this event is ergo sufficiently stately for her. I’d also note that, princessy or not, they both look good. Sofia’s stripes save her Carolina Herrera from being too staid, and Camila’s tie-dye detailing is young and fun:
