Ah, yes! It’s like Amber Rose woke up one morning and decided to remind us all why she won Fug Madness one year. When she wants to bring it, she brings it. She told Marc Malkin on the red carpet that she wanted to be an “intergalactic space slut,” and that is VERY specific in a way that makes me laugh. (It’s also to raise awareness for her Slut Walk, which is a good cause.)
My pet theory is that Amber Rose already has plans of some sort for Halloween — prepping a TED Talk, taking the kids trick or treating, a Get Out the Vote event; I don’t know her life — that preclude her from wearing this then. And she was very irritated to realized that Intergalactic Space Slut was going to have to wait another year. And because Amber Rose is no dummy, she got out her calendar and realized that yes, OF COURSE, she can wear it to the VMAs. She can wear WHATEVER SHE WANTS to the VMAs.
Problem solved!
