Both of these women are nominated for Emmys for their roles in Lessons in Chemistry, and — as the scrolls foretold — have thus hit the promotional trail to talk people into watching that, and then voting for them. I haven’t seen it or read the book, so I am not qualified to weigh in here beyond saying that I’m interested to see what they both wear for the rest of Emmy Promo Season: Here, they both look totally fine and mildly like they’re going to different events. ANK’s gown is nice on her AND the length is smart for a Sit-Down-Event, but in this photo she slightly looks like she’s just come off stage from performing a slate of jazz standards, and Brie is her literary agent who’s in town to catch the show and check in on her forthcoming memoir. This woman has stories to tell!
