Candy Cane Lane is a deal-with-the-devil movie about a man who wants to win the neighborhood decoration contest. It is also the actual name of two places in L.A. — and probably more elsewhere in the country/world — that are famous for over-the-top holiday lights. The El Segundo Candy Cane Lane here is the one featured in this movie, which means I guess that the Woodland Hills one is drowning its snubbed sorrows today in mulled wine.
