Katie is right and all of this is true! I’d love to hear all about your perfect sandwich. I think mine is the Godmother from Bay Cities; I like the spicy version. There is also a little cafe right by my house that makes a great vegan sandwich with roasted red pepper hummus, avocado, pepperoncini, lettuce, and vegan aioli that I unveganize by putting turkey on it, and there is a place right up the street from them that serves an amazing chicken salad sandwich, on a rosemary raisin bread. (I guess, as much as I like to make a sandwich at home, my perfect sandwiches are all made by actual experts.) Tell us yours!
