Supposedly, this collection is about Roksanda reexamining how women want to dress now that so many have spent two years working from home, dealing with online school, and being closer and close to the end of our collective ropes (I might be editorializing a bit there). Some of the individual pieces are interesting, but there’s so much frenzied layering, and then several of them have the Fila logo slapped on them because I guess she’s collaborating with that brand now?!? I don’t really know how it came from an analysis of how we want to burst back into the world. Harper’s wrote a whole piece about how this collection’s entire M.O. is to be weird, and encourage us all to hold hands with our inner weirdos. I have already hugged mine a fair bit; please don’t make me do it in Slide 18.
