Meghan and Harry did a few more engagements this past weekend whilst they were in the UK, and we got the pics from both of them yesterday at some point. I think? I am not wholly sure what’s happening on any given day anymore, friends. We live in stressful and perplexing times. Anyway! Here, Informative Caption tells us that Meghan met, “Commonwealth Scholars, Chevening Scholars and an ACU Blue Charter Fellow from 11 Commonwealth countries – Malawi, India, Cameroon, Bangladesh, Nigeria, Pakistan, Ghana, Rwanda, Kenya, Malaysia and Sri Lanka – at Buckingham Palace before they all attended the Commonwealth Service on March 09, 2020 in London, England. As a university graduate who also benefited from attending with support from a scholarship, the Duchess is a strong advocate of accessible education for all. The scholars are studying and researching important areas surrounding cleaning up plastic pollution in the oceans, helping to build more sustainable cities, improving health outcomes for citizens, and supporting decent work and economic growth.”

Commonwealth Day Service 2020

Wow, EVERYONE in this photo looks great. Meghan’s dress is Scanlan Theodore and it’s very elegant — it feels very I’m a Fancy Lady Lawyer in a Movie, which is (a) a compliment and (b) right in her wheelhouse after Suits (not a movie, but you feel me!), and I would certainly let her try to save me from an unjust accusation of whatever. Additionally: She was all about scarves/capes/scarve-capes this past week and whomst among us can blame anyone for that?

This was the other look:

You can’t really see that dress in that photo, but you can see it somewhat better on Net-a-Porter. It’s really interesting and I’d like to see it in movement? I think I’d also like to see it with a belt. The back is GREAT. (I also want to know what shoes she’s wearing. Meghan, I need these deets. We’re all stuck at home, give me some SHOES to see.)
