Congratulations to Simone Ashley, who plays Miranda Priestley’s new Emily, for jumping on the opportunity to be dressed in Prada at The Devil Wears Prada 2. Surely SOMEBODY had to, and she was willing, for better or worse. This cast, and premiere, is quite stacked: Lady Gaga contributed a song to The Devil Wears Prada 2 — alongside Doechii, who sadly does not appear to have attended the premiere — but she is also in the film, presumably as herself, alongside Ciara and Ashley Graham (I assume they’re in the Met Gala scene). People with actual character names include Lucy Liu, Rachel Bloom, BJ Novak, Kenneth Branagh, Justin Theroux, and Broadway’s Helen J. Shen. And that’s just the folks listed on Wikipedia. It makes for a robust gallery here and a very starry premiere, though did you expect anything less?
