This must be the last major stop on the press tour, because Law captioned it, “Finale,” and for me it’s a very mixed ending. The brand, Matières Fécales, said Law asked them to hold this for Zendaya two years ago (it’s from their debut collection; alas, she did not do the full face paint). And the effect is very dramatic, although perhaps SLIGHTLY left of the mark? Unless I am mistaken, Athena typically is not depicted with wings unless maybe they are on her feet; she’s the goddess of warfare and wisdom and handicraft. I’m almost surprised Law didn’t borrow armor instead. (Edited to be clear: I am not saying they HAVE to be on theme, but they so frequently have been and this is a big statement piece, so it made me wonder.)
