Victoria’s Secret hasn’t thrown its signature fashion show in four years — since twin scandals delivered a death blow to the struggling company’s reputation. (Short version: CEO of parent company = an Epstein supporter; head of the fashion show = fatphobic, transphobic creep.) They tried to turn the ship around in 2021 by hiring, among others, Eileen Gu, Megan Rapinoe, Paloma Elsesser, and Priyanka Chopra Jonas, but by then nobody seemed to care anymore. And now I gather they’re bringing back the fashion show in some form?!? They’re calling it The Tour, but I will be honest: I had no interest in what the distinction is, so I didn’t even look. I am not sure this is anything America needed OR wanted, but there are a lot of loyal former Angels out there who are willing to show up to a party, so I guess the show goes on. Again.
