Mickey Blue Eyes appears to be from the era of floppy-haired stammering Hugh Grant (I gather he recently referred to it as his Smoothie Hugh Grant period, but he was far from smooth in those roles). He plays James Caan’s son-in-law (or future son-in-law?) who gets sucked into impersonating a mobster, and it sounds pretty dreadful, so maybe Jeanne Trippelhorn here was just trying to give people something to discuss besides the movie. But when you’re dressed as the infamous censor bar from Ye Olde Glamour Don’t pages, maaaaaaaybe pause and let that word don’t sink in a little.
