I watched True Lies again at some point in the pandemic, and I think it held up pretty well — largely because Jamie Lee Curtis commits to it completely. Bill Paxton has a brief but vital cameo in which he is sleazy perfection. And Arnold… you know, does that Arnold thing, to the usual effect. Is his character kind of a jerk? Yes. Do he and JLC have chemistry? Not really. Do I love that he rides a horse into an elevator, then uses it to jump between buildings? Absolutely, although apparently the horse freaked out and Arnold almost fell to his death, which is less exciting.
