You might think this color means Valentino, but no; it’s a British designer named Helen Anthony, doing what feels like a serviceable Schiaparelli impression (it’s the neck jewelry, which is really pieces sewn onto a mesh shirt, and also the fact that Elsa did a signature pink first). I love it, frankly. I might have swapped in a different bag, but I think it’s a divine coat-gown, and so much less likely to give me weird nightmares than the Rick Owens with shoulder inserts that looked like they were borrowed from the skeleton of a decaying witch. I still sometimes think of those and shudder. So thank you, Billy, for letting a gentler silhouette prevail. There will be sleep tonight! [/InigoMontoya]
