Okay, so these movies are BAD but that certainly hasn’t prevented us from covering a premiere before! I’m sure we wrote about this when it happened in 2007 but let’s look back at the Los Angeles premiere of the first Michael Bay Transformers with the benefit of the passing of time. (Don’t get me started on how AWFUL and DUMB and SEXIST the one with Marky Mark is, it’s SO hacky. There’s an American flag waving in like every frame and poor Isabel Lucas had to wear shorty short shorts and heels the whole time I HATE IT. I confess I saw the one we’re covering here, however, in the movie theatre, unlike the Marky Mark, which recently floated past me on TV.) It is an ABSOLUTE TIME CAPSULE; if you were a sentient adult in 2007, you will remember the kinds of dresses you’re about to see.
