There are a lot of reasons this gives me the giggles. One of them is the sheer number of disparate floating blocks around her; I absolutely love the idea that she’s got two separate snack rafts, for example. But another is the electrical appliances. Where is that fan plugged in? The answer is nowhere, because there is no cord — and if it were, she would be electrocuted. Where is that phone plugged in? Nowhere, for the same reasons. So to whom is she speaking? Why, it’s her imaginary friend Judith, who convinced her to bring those satin throwpillows out on the water, and to put the grapes out of reach, and to get on her giant block without an oar. Judith is a terrible influence.
