Honestly, though, I truly do like this — it feels VERY Chanel, in that 1930s Coco Chanel kind of way. I had this set of Coco Chanel paper dolls when I was a child, which I loved and which also conveniently neglected to mention that she was a Nazi, and there was a dress in them that looked VERY like this. So perhaps it also gives me some nostalgic feelings in addition to tickling those stripes-related neurons.

The back is also rather good:

Bonus points for that watch. Let’s bring back watches as accessories for all. I just got mine back from the Watch Person (I needed a new battery. It took me two years to get that taken care of), and I’m delighted every time I use it. I’m like, “This is SO CONVENIENT. You can find out the time WITHOUT LOOKING AT YOUR PHONE.”
