I often assume that when people are laughing exaggeratedly on the red carpet, it’s because they’re nervous and they are trying to loosen up their faces so that their smiles don’t seem tight. But almost every photo of these people was merry. Claire Foy was happy by herself; happy with Jessie Buckley; happy with Ben Whishaw; happy with Sarah Polley. Rooney Mara missed out on a gas of an evening, apparently. It’s sweet when you feel like a cast REALLY does like each other, because how lucky is that?
