I am on a really slow pace with The Handmaid’s Tale. First, I kept waiting to be in the right mood to delve in, but then I decided that was never going to happen so I just took the plunge. And it was great — so well done — but I couldn’t binge it because it scared me too much. It felt… close. So I’m only about four or five episodes into season one, and knowing it has been stretched out across two more seasons just makes me terribly stressed out, for some reason, for those characters and for the fact that the world is a many-flavored night terror right now. I’m curious how many of y’all enjoyed the progression past Margaret Atwood’s novel and will follow it.
