The Grammys started half an hour earlier than normal, but still finished after 8. Despite some good performances, it was the longest three hours and 40 minutes  imaginable, with the lowest concentration of actual Grammys handed out. They gave out a TON before the telecast even started, and I can think of at least three performances that didn’t need to be on the air. Le sigh. At least the Grammys celebrate music, which is more than I feel like the Oscars do for film anymore.
