Jaimie had become an overnight familiar face in late 2015 when Blindspot premiered to monster ratings; she waltzed into the Emmys about a week later in an Armani that hadn’t even gone down the runway yet and then followed it with this gown at the 2016 Golden Globes. Genny wasn’t a well-known line — it still isn’t, honestly — but the color, the pattern, and the sexy plunge made it another standout choice. This dress won Fug Nation’s Best that year, but it wasn’t a unanimous choice at all; Jenna Dewan forced a run-off that ended with Jaimie squeaking by with 55 percent of the vote.

A lot of people did not care for the amount of cleavage and the depth of the vee on this. I thought it was just right, wonderfully deployed — and secured in place — and balancing the fullness of the skirt divinely. It was divisive, but it’s also one of the most memorable green dresses — when we came up with this theme, it’s the first one that sprang to mind — and so it seemed worth re-litigating that, for fun. Has it aged well? Do you still love it? Do you love it more, knowing what we’ve seen since? Or has the bloom dropped off the rose? Would you have voted the same way?
