Y’all know I love looking at our sales data. Of course, it helps inform us what you are buying/interested in, but it’s also just anthropologically compelling to me! I’m nosy, what are you buying? This year, it seems like people definitely were picking up clothes for their summer vacation — as was I — and I hope that, wherever you went, it was a blast and you liked your outfit.
With no further ado, 2025’s 15 most-purchased items:
15. This multi-colored BaubleBar bracelet. I own this one and I love it. I think BaubleBar is still running their end-of-year sale, although I don’t believe this is part of it.
14. The F1 quote coasters, tied with these monster calendars! These are both from our gift guide this year, and I’m delighted y’all liked them so much. They’re both still in stock, last I checked, in case you want to Treat Yourself.
13. This adorable straw tote from Madewell. This is currently sold out — it’s definitely a summer piece — but in checking on that, I ran across this very good suede tote. NOT the same vibe but still…a very nice bag. Madewell is also currently running a truly huge sale with lots of good basics. I LOVE this bag.
12. The classic Breton striped long-sleeved tee from J.Crew. Of course! This is currently marked way, way down, but only in very limited sizes. This Old Navy version is a decent dupe though — and the price is very right there, too.
11. This quilted jacket from Lands’ End really moved. They also have a (cute!) bomber jacket version. While we’re here at Lands’ End, Heather has this packable down jacket and absolutely loves it. ALL of these are currently marked down.
10. You bought a LOT of the Quince “Performance Tech” ankle pants, which they are apparently not currently offering. I am included in “you,” as I also bought a pair. They’re light and great to throw in a bag for a vacation but I guess now only available at Poshmark. These seem like the closest dupe at Quince itself. (If you have some extra holiday money rattling around, I’d just get the Ruti ones and call it a day, though.)
9. J.Crew Factory’s short-sleeved “beach sweater.” This is another summer item, so it’s sold out — but this is similar for the cooler months! I might pick that up in black. Their LONG-sleeved beach sweaters are on big sale at the moment.
8. This frankly gorgeous dress from ME+EM. This is still available in limited sizes and I am so tempted — so it’s good that none of the sizes are mine. (ME + EM’s current sale is frankly quite tempting overall.)
7. Old Navy’s wide-legged linen pants. I’m delighted to note that these are still available, although mostly in limited sizes. (We all bought a lot of linen stuff this year.)
6. Quince’s Italian suede sling bag. I bought this and brought it on my honeymoon, where it performed admirably! I wore it crossbody and was able to unobtrusively “lock” the zipper to the hardware on the strap using a tiny S-biner, so I didn’t worry about getting pickpocketed at, say, the Trevi fountain, which seems like a hotbed for said activity. Plus, it matched all my outfits and was still cute — so many specifically “anti-pickpocket” bags are unattractive to me.
5. UNTUCKit’s Chunky button-up cardigan. Everyone give a big welcome to the first piece of menswear to make it to our best-sellers list! It is a really nice sweater. We also have a code for UNTUCKit: DWB20 for 20% off.
4. J.Crew Factory’s gauze button-up shirt. I feel like we all tried to spend this year with as little fabric touching our bodies as possible. Good news: this is still available, there are new colors, and it is on sale!
3. Hah! I am amused to see this “F*ck Trump” Morse Code bracelet so high on the list. Say no more! (This Etsy shop has a lot of Morse Code bracelets you might like, like “Love You, Bitch” and “Fuck It.“)
2. Quince’s linen, button-front dress. We sold A LOT of these in various iterations — I too bought one, and was very pleased with it. (I wish they’d had this red one when I was shopping.) Quince was, in fact, our most-shopped brand overall.
1. Drum roll, please. Our number one most sold item was this Madewell purse, which Heather and I both also have. It’s a GREAT purse. It holds SO MUCH STUFF. The studded one is currently on sale. These are going fast, there were so many more colors available yesterday.
Finally, a round of applause and an honorable mention goes to these Eby bras, which almost cracked the list and which I frankly ALSO love. They’re VERY comfortable. (If you’re confused about the sizing, I’d size up.) Also almost making onto this list is Dr. Brandt’s under-eye bag potion, currently keeping me from looking totally like the Crypt Keeper. (I also just remembered we have a code for them: DWB20 should get you 20% off.)
