Do we need an origin story for Cruella de Vil? TBD, although it is directed by Craig Gillespie, who did I, Tonya, which DOES intrigue me (and good for him for getting that Disney IP cash). But in all honesty, this trailer at least looks good from a visual perspective:
Do I have any sense of the story other than that Emma Stone is bad and make a really dramatic hair choice at some point and also drives around London a lot, also Emma Thompson and Kirby Howell-Baptiste are there? No. Is that perhaps enough to get me to watch this movie? Let’s be honest: Probably yes.
