I didn’t realize Judy was a British Independent Film, but it won Best Actress for Renee Zellweger (who didn’t attend); The Crown’s new Prince Charles (Josh O’Connor) won for something called Only You. In a weird twist, a movie starring Hugh Laurie and Dev Patel — The Personal History of David Copperfield — isn’t even coming out until May, but I guess it was at Toronto, so… I’ve given up trying to understand awards windows, frankly.
