When you are covering your 21st Golden Globes on your website, sometimes you wildly hope that, say, a young and beloved Oscar-winning actress who’s been out of the limelight will decide THIS is her moment to make you scream aloud at your desk. Or that a hot heartthrob of the moment will mess with his hair; that a diva will return to her love of illusion netting; that people will decide butt cracks deserve a moment in the sun; that someone will show up dressed as a glamorous pirate. Thank you all for keeping it interesting, even if — and maybe especially — it also keeps me screechy.
