Travis Kelce swung by Saturday Night Live this weekend to be the button on a sketch about the NFL’s obsession with covering the whereabouts of Taylor Swift; minutes later, Taylor showed up to introduce her pal Ice Spice, the musical guest. Later, Travlor Swelce went to the afterparty and apparently did a lot of kissing, so either Tayvis Kelft is pulling the ultimate salivary long-con on the world, or they’re actually hooking up and enjoying being young and pretty and at the top of their respective games. I vote for that one. And I’m very pleased that Travis filling in his facial hair around that ridiculous mustache, which our friend Abby noted was giving “small-town cop,” and yes, ABSOLUTELY this person is out there in Cabot Cove telling Jessica Fletcher that the obvious suspect is guilty and they don’t need to open this tightly shut case.
Personally, I will pass on Travis’s jacket and Taylor’s corset here, BUT I did also just see the Eras Tour movie right before writing this and it is hard to compete with any of the sparkly delightful things she wore on-stage. I want every single pair of boots she had. I will say, though, that Travis’s outfit is very well-tailored, and that is not as much the case with this one:
Maybe I need to give Jacket a second chance. Maybe Jacket was holding everything together for him and without it, everything turned a hair shlubbier. Taylor’s outfit is reportedly Gaultier, and it’s giving me aughts flashbacks to old mall standards like, say, bebe, or Windsor. I cannot imagine that’s a comparison anyone at Gaultier would appreciate, but… I’m not sure they could DENY it, either. And girls, you know it’s true.
